Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit have canceled their October 8 concert at the Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, Mississippi, WLBT reports.

The decision to cancel was based on “the powers that be were not willing to comply with the band’s updated health and safety standards,” according to a post by Southeastern Records.

Isbell announced last week that he requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test prior to his performances.

Those who purchased tickets to the event in Brandon can get a refund for their purchase from the seller. Those who ordered via Ticketmaster will be refunded within 30 days.

Isbell mentioned the show will take place at Graceland in Memphis instead.
