Jefferson County boy’s basketball team picked up three wins

Jefferson County High School boy’s basketball team picked up three wins.

The Tigers crushed Velma Jackson 58-23 in game one last week before taking a close 50-44 loss to Brookhaven.

On Thursday, JC pulled off a big 70-30 victory over North Pike which was followed by a 52-50 win over Lawrence County.

Stanley Starks is averaging 24 points per game this summer where he is 45% from the 3-point line.

The Tigers are coached by Delvin Thompson  and they will be heading to Tulane on Tuesday for camp.
