Joe Johnson now playing football at Virginia Union University
Vicksburg native Joe Johnson is now playing college football at Virginia Union University.
Johnson made the announcement over Twitter on Sunday where his name is seen on the school’s roster.

Johnson player high school football at Vicksburg High where he led the Gators to the playoffs in all three of his varsity before graduating in 2018. He went on to play at Coahoma Community College before spending time at West Alabama last year.
Now that Johnson has taken his skills to VUU, he will have another chance to show his true athletic ability at quarterback.
VUU’s season will begin on Thursday against Virginia University of Lynchburg.
