Johnson pulled in 10 sacks for the Gators in 2021

Demarcus Johnson was a notable figure on the Vicksburg High School football team’s defense in the 2021 season where he caused havoc on the line.

Johnson closed out the year with an outstanding 10 sacks in the 3-4 defense. He worked his way through multiple offensive lineman to get to the quarterback.

To go along with his double digit sacks, Johnson also racked up 75 tackles, aiding the Gators to produce multiple shutouts in their 7-5 season under head coach Todd McDaniel.

Johnson still has two seasons remaining as a Gator after finishing up his sophomore year. A great number of eyes will be watching his future success.
