Jon Michael Carson, 1982 – 2022

Jon Michael Carson of Rolling Fork, MS passed away on Oct. 28, at the age of 40. He is preceded in death by his father, Tony Zell Carson.

Jon was born in Vicksburg Mississippi on May 15, 1982. He has been a lifelong resident of Sharkey County, and his passion was agriculture. He graduated from MSU with a Degree in Soil Conservation, and then later obtained a Master’s Degree from MSU in Agronomy.

He is survived by his two children, Lillie Grace Carson and Thomas Reed Carson, of Rolling Fork, MS, his mother, Kathleen McDaniel, his step-father James McDaniel (Diane), and his brother, Zach McDaniel.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork, MS.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
