Joyce D. Partridge, 1935-2023

Joyce D. Partridge passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 87.

Joyce was born on September 7, 1935, the daughter of Edgar Leroy Steele and Eleanor Flemings Steele. She was a nature lover and enjoyed bird watching, fishing, gardening, her flowers and keeping her yard beautiful. She also loved reading and she was a seamstress.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband Edward “Red” Partridge, daughters Debbie Storey and Nancy Storey and her sister Janette Alexander and her husband Denver.

She is survived by her daughter Mandy Partridge LaHatte, brother Arthur Steele, sisters Eddrea Nobles, Mary Ann Bowlin (Pete), Ginger Davis (Richard) and grandson Waylan Clay Moore.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Bro. Glenn Alexander. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m until the hour of the service.
