JPD makes two arrests in murder of 12-year-old boy

Jackson Police have arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of 12-year-old Adrian McDougles.

Otha Brown, 18, was charged with murder, armed carjacking and convicted felon in possession of a concealed weapon in addition to probation violation.

At a press conference on Friday, Jackson Police revealed that a young woman, Cartisha Cashion, had come forward to turn herself in for her role in the crime.  She has been charged with murder, drive-by shooting and aggravated assault.

Police also said that Tarkuan Cohen, 18, who was previously arrested in connection with the case has been cleared as suspect.
