South Carolina State defeated Jackson State University 31-10 in the Celebration Bowl on Saturday.

The Tigers were able to strike first pass from Shedeur Sanders to Keith Corbin to go up 7-0 in the first quarter.

South Carolina wouldn’t get on the board until the second quarter, after Sanders was sacked and fumbled inside the five yard line. Before halftime, SC kicked a field goal to go up 10-7 at the end of the second quarter.

SC really got things rolling in the second half.  Shaquan Davis ended the night by catching three touchdown passes and finishing with 95 receiving yard.

The Tigers were unable to get in the end zone in the second half and settled for a field goal.

Although JSU took a tough loss, they are still the 2021 SWAC Champions.
