Kam Brown named as the Co-District Player of the Year
Port Gibson High School boy’s basketball player Kameron Brown has been selected as the as the Region 7-3A Co-Player of the Year.
Brown, who received the award over the weekend, has been starring for the Blue Waves all season where he is averaging 18 points and six rebounds per game.
Since the age of five, Brown has suffered from diabetes but he manages to fight through the pain everyday and gives his best performance to keep his team team on top.
With the help of Brown, PGHS has a 17-6 record this season and they are the top competitors in their district.
Just a year ago, Brown was starring at Vicksburg High but he has now found a home with the Blue Waves and continues to take them to new heights.
