Kameron Brown scored 18 points for VHS ninth grade basketball team

Vicksburg High School basketball player Kameron Brown scored 18 points Thursday in the 51-23 win over Warren Central’s ninth grade team.

Brown led the Gators most of the night with the help of Tyler Henderson who scored 7 points.

The Gator ninth grade team consists of players from last year’s Vicksburg Junior High team that had a 18-1 record last year and went to the Little Six championship.

The team is coached by ninth grade head coach Julius Williams, and the Gators have a good 1-0 start on the season.
