Kenny Ray Wade was born in Vicksburg on a Thursday, June 5, 1952, and died on a Friday, August 25, 2023, in Vicksburg at the age of 71.

He’s preceded in death by his brother Thomas Wade, his mother Evelyn Brown and his father, James “Bud” Wade along with his nephew Bobby Shiers Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Nikki Wade and son Kenny Wade Jr. along with six loving grandchildren; Zhoe Wade, Ayla Wade, Journey Sutton, Jaliyah Sutton, Terrance Marshall Jr. and Zae Wade.

He has three sisters, Barbara Henderson (Paul) of Dequincy, La Mary Burleson of Vicksburg and Margaret Botsford (Johnny) of Vicksburg. Nieces and nephews and countless friends who loved him dearly including long-time best friend and boss Mr. Charles Toney.

Kenny, in keeping with the giving soul that he was, donated his body to science. Please leave a loving memory or kind word for his remaining family. Kenny didn’t like funerals, so there will not be one.
