Key City Brewing Co. wins multiple awards at the Craft Beer Marketing Awards 2023

Key City Brewing Co. has won multiple awards at the Craft Beer Marketing Awards 2023, known as “The Crushies,” held on Monday, May 8th, in Nashville, Tennessee. The Crushies celebrate the very best of beer marketing, and the teams and individuals behind them. Entries are divided into five regions: The Americas, UK, Europe, APAC – Asia & Pacific (including Australia & New Zealand), and MENA, Africa & Beyond. Platinum and Gold Crushies are awarded in each region, and all categories are judged by an influential and respected panel of 600+ beer, marketing, and design experts.

Key City Brewing Co. was proud to represent Mississippi craft beer at the CBMAs and placed in all four categories entered, winning three Gold Crushies and a Platinum Crushie. The categories entered were Best Can Design in three size ranges and Best Tap Handle.

The Gold Crushie for Best Can Design (32oz Crowler) was awarded to Key City Brewing Co. for their “Bayou Slush: Triple Berry Blast,” designed by Drew Landon Harris.

The Gold Crushie for Best Can Design (16oz-20oz) was awarded for their “Bayou Slush: Painkiller,” also designed by Drew Landon Harris.

Key City Brewing Co. won a third Gold Crushie for Best Can Design (8oz-15oz) for their “Moon Child: Oatmeal Stout,” designed by Tyler Cristobal.

Finally, Key City Brewing Co. won the prestigious Platinum Crushie for Best Tap Handle for their “Golden Key Tap Handles,” designed by Drew Landon Harris, Tyler Cristobal, Zack Erickson, & Steel City Tap Co.

According to Harris, “We are thrilled to have won these awards and to have our marketing efforts recognized by the industry. We are especially proud to represent Mississippi craft beer and to showcase our art and design on these projects. Our success at the Crushies motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries of beer marketing and design. You could say we CRUSHED IT!”
