Khamauri Rogers commits to the University of Miami

Holmes County Central High School football star Khamauri Rogers has now committed to the University of Miami.

Rogers, who is ranked as the No.9 cornerback in the country, chose to play with the Hurricanes over big schools like Ole Miss, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Notre Dame after visiting the school this weekend.

“Miami has produced a lot of great DBs and I feel like I could be the next one,” Rogers told 247Sports.

“My favorite things are that I am a priority here, and my relationships with the coaches,” he continued. “It was really cool just to see how happy all the coaches were to land me.”
