Klondyke to host UnValentines Day party
On Tuesday night, Valentine’s Day, the Klondyke will host an UnValentine’s Day party.
“The party is designed for people who don’t have a Valentine this year, but everyone is welcome to attend,” said Klondyke owner Holly Ramo. “The Klondyke hosted one a few years ago and it was so much fun.”
The idea of an “UnValentine Party” originated with one of the Klondyke regulars who had gone through a breakup the prior year. “She said it was the first Valentine’s Day she would go through in years without a partner and it was unsettling for her,” said Ramo. “So the Klondyke put together a party with her in mind. It turned out to be one of the biggest parties we’ve ever done. Now that all the COVID restrictions are lifted we can once again celebrate UnValentine’s Day at the Klondyke.”
Klondyke will feature dinner and drink specials for the party. Karaoke with Dawn Bell will start at 7 p.m.
Ramo invited everyone to come saying, “We’ve all been there and know that feeling on Valentine’s Day. We’re going to have a Klondyke party for all of our friends to get together and just have fun so come join us, grab a bite to eat and prepare to laugh.”
Klondyke is located at 100 N. Washington. The event is open to the public and festivities will start at 6 p.m.
