Knight led freshman Vikings in points on Tuesday
Warren Central High School freshman basketball players DeCorey Knight Jr. led the ninth-grade team in points on Tuesday.
Knight scored 14 points, while teammates Chance Ward and Jaylen Winters came in second by putting up eight points on the night.

The game remained close and the Vikings received plenty of help from Larry Reynolds Jr, who scored six, and TeQaris Qualls, who put up seven. Ultimately, it proved to be just shy of enough, resulting in a close 37-35 loss to Germantown High School.
The freshman team is currently playing summer basketball under head coach Julius Cosby, vigorously training to improve their game.
