A wanted fugitive was arrested yesterday by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

At around 6 p.m. Monday evening, deputies and investigators went to 900 Culkin Road and arrested Charles Dudley White, 40, who was found hiding underneath the house.

White has been sought by the Mississippi Department of Corrections since December of 2020 on a probation violation.  In August of 2021, a citizen filed charges against White for burglary.

White was also the subject of a chase earlier this year in which he ran from officers into a thickly wooded area near his home.

Detective Zach Primeaux spotted White yesterday near the home on Culkin Road and called for additional units.  When backup arrived, deputies and investigators surrounded the house and located White hiding underneath the home.

White is being held in the Warren County Jail and will likely make an initial appearance in court today on the burglary charge from August of last year, according to Sheriff Martin Pace.  White will remain in custody, as he has a no-bond detainer placed on him by MDOC.
