Lady Eagles grab a home win over Madison St. Joe
Porter’s Chapel Academy softball team grabbed a 14-9 victory at home on Saturday against Madison St. Joe.
The Lady Eagles got things started early in the first inning where they scored eight runs. Katie Tillman and Olivia Masterson both doubled to contribute to the high score.
Reagan Thornell pitched the victory where she had four strikeouts while Tillman went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Emily Phillipson, Masterson, and Natalie Cantin each had two hits while Emily Collins and Masterson had two RBIs.
PCA had another productive inning in the third where they put up five more scores under the leadership of Chandler Upton who was satisfied with her team’s performance.
The Lady Eagles will be on the road on Monday against Franklin Academy in search of a road win.
