Lady Flashes are on a three game winning streak after defeating JA on Tuesday

St. Aloysius softball team gained their third victory in a row in a 7-2 win over Jackson Academy.
“I’m really proud on how we never gave up and finished the game strong and we’re aiming to keep this going into Thursday’s game,” Head Coach Savannah Buck said.
Neither the Lady Flashes or JA could get on the board early in the game but things quickly shifted by the third inning.
Kyleigh Cooper would soon hit a single which was followed by a double from Lili Perniciaro that brought in one score. Ali G. Luke then singled on a line drive that led to Perniciaro getting the run.
Shortly before the ending of the third, Ruthie Britton hit a double to push the lead to 4-0.
The fourth and fifth inning would consist of mostly defense for both teams but JA would pick things up in the sixth. The Lady Raiders got two runs in the sixth inning before St. Al got the third out.
A double by Britton and RBIs by Crawley Haller, Luke, and Cooper would give the Lady Flashes a 7-2 lead heading into the final inning of play.
St. Al was able to hold on to their lead through the seventh and finish the game on top with a 7-2 final.
Cooper struck out 14 on the night while Perniciaro, Cooper, Britton, Macey Stauble, and Luke all led with two hits a piece. Haller also had one hit and Britton and Luke led with two RBIs.
The Lady Flashes will play at Clinton Christian Academy on Thursday.
