Lady Flashes celebrated senior night on Tuesday
St. Aloysius celebrated senior night for the softball team on Tuesday night where the Lady Flashes played against the baseball team.
“We are so proud of this group of this seniors and this was a spectacular night,” Head Coach Savannah Buck said. “Our senior night just keeps getting bigger and better every year and we want to say a big thank you to Father Rusty for our leading prayer and umpiring for us behind the plate and also Parks and Recreation Director Rick Daughtry and Gary Jackson for getting the field prepped and Rick for being our field umpire.”
“We also want to give a huge shout out to Vicksburg Daily News for always doing an amazing job of covering us. This has been a great year and what an awesome ending to this season. I love doing this for our seniors to give them that extra spotlight, and it brings so much joy with our baseball team and it definitely brings our whole Flashes family together. Thank you so much for an awesome year.”
Seniors Abby Mikulski, Christine Wallace, Lydia Nettles and Miracle Flowers are the four seniors who played their last game with their teammates. All three played under Head Coach Savannah Buck and Assistant Coach Jeff Buck.
The Lady Flashes took home the win in the friendly match against the boys while Jay Harper was pitching.
St. Aloysius finished with a 9-15 record this season.
