Lady Flashes crushed Discovery Christian 55-2 on senior night

Senior night was a success for St. Aloysius girl’s basketball team who got a 55-2 win over Discovery Christian.
“We went out there and we fought hard and communicated good and I’m really happy with the outcome,” senior Falyn Lusby said.
Lusby took over early in the win as she dropped eight points in the first quarter alone. Emily Cook hit a few free throws along Madi Matthews to help the Lady Flashes take a 19-0 first quarter lead.
By halftime, St. Al was up 34-2 as McKenzie Cole got a couple of buckets.
St. Al didn’t give up another score in the second half and ended the night with a huge win.
Lusby led with 16 points and Cole added 11 in the win. Matthews put up 10 and Emily Cook ended the night with five. Megan Theriot and Olivia had four while Skylar Connelly and Farrell Roberson both had two and Maddy McSherry scored a free throw.
The Lady Flashes will host ACCS on Tuesday.
