Lady Flashes grabbed their third win in a row on Wednesday

St. Aloysius girl’s soccer team grabbed their third win in a row after defeating Manchester Academy 1-0.
“It was a great win and we started off a little slow but we fixed that up and made some changes and finished out on top,” St. Al Head Coach Gio Baldizon said.
The Lady Flashes got their lone goal just shortly before halftime as Lili Perniciaro scored.
“I had confidence that we were going to win this game and I knew that we would play our hardest to make sure we finished out strong,” Perniciaro said.
The Lady Flashes’ defense is what kept them afloat throughout the night as Manchester remained scoreless. Goalkeeper Sarah Smith finished with six saves in the win.
“I’m glad to see that we’ve been consistent with everything and each game we’re improving on working together better,” Smith said.
St. Al will travel to play Hattiesburg on Tuesday.
