Lady Flashes put away Jackson Academy 14-7 on Tuesday

St. Aloysius softball team got back on track after beating Jackson Academy 14-7 on Tuesday night.

The Lady Flashes quickly took a 6-0 lead until JA picked up seven runs in the fourth inning. A triple from Raegan Thornell along with a RBI from Ali G. Luke and a double by Maddy McSherry helped St. Al regain their lead.

Madelyn Kavanaugh pitched most of the game where she struck out five batters while Kyleigh Cooper struck out two.

Theriot went 2 for 4 with with a double and a triple. Britton ended the night with two doubles and two RBIs as she went 2 for 4 while McSherry had one double, two hits and three runs. Thornell went 2 for 2 with a triple and three RBIs.

Madison Spencer had a triple and a RBI while Cooper, Kavanaugh and Luke all had a hit.

The Lady Flashes will travel to play Jackson Victors on Thursday.
