Lady Flashes took a heartbreaking loss to ACCS on senior night

St. Aloysius fell to Adams County Christian 6-5 on Tuesday night.

Adams County Christian got on the board first after a double to take a 1-0 lead in the first inning.

The Lady Flashes would respond in the second once Crawley Haller got a RBI. Maddy McSherry and Ali G. Luke both got a big hit to give St. Al a 4-1 lead.

ACCS tied the game at four in the third inning after a double and three singles. The Lady Flashes would regain the the lead after another RBI by Haller.

The Lady Flashes would maintain their 5-4 lead until the final inning when ACCS profited from a double that brought in two runs as they went up 6-5. Luke got on base after a single but the game ended after Megan Theriot got out in the final inning.

Kyleigh Cooper struck out eight on the night and also had one hit at bat. McSherry and Luke both had two hits while Theriot and Wallace both had one. McSherry and Haller both led with two RBIs.

The two teams will play again on Wednesday at ACCS.
