Lady Vikes and Missy Gators picked up road wins

Warren Central High School girl’s basketball team got defeated Terry on Tuesday night in a close 30-28 win.

Zy Segrest scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds while Alaila Bracey contributed eight points.

The game was tied at 28 with 15 seconds left when Calise Henyard got the game winning layup for the Lady Vikes.

WC is now 14-9 on the season under head coach Dareian Hillard.

VHS Game:

The Missy Gators got a 38-28 win over Forest Hill on the road Tuesday night.

Layla Carter led the way with  11 points and six rebounds while Janiah Caples and Destini Sims both had 10 points. Caples grabbed 10 rebounds and five steals and Sims snatched six rebounds and four steals.

VHS boys:

The Gators took a 73-52 loss to Forest Hill where Davian Williams scored 13 points and Malik Franklin added seven.
