Lady Vikes finished their season on Saturday in a close game against Harrison Central

Warren Central High School softball season came to an end on Saturday in a close 3-2 loss to Harrison Central.

HC got the first run in the opening inning but WC took a 2-1 lead in the third inning after a big hit by Jenn Smith that brought in two scores. Before the third inning was out, HC would tie things at two after a single by Jaleesa Farmer.

The would remain tight throughout the day as Tyra Bridges, Kayleigh Karel, Jenn Smith, Sarah Cameron Fancher, and Kamryn Morson all managed to rack up hits.

In the sixth inning, Kalee Stinnett managed to get a RBI for HC which would be the final run of the night as they took the 3-2 victory.

Bridges and Karel both went 2 for 3 at the plate while Jenn Smith finished with two RBIs and one hit. Fancher and Morson also finished with one hit.

Annalyn Nevels  struck out one batter on the night.

The Lady Vikes finished their season with a 18-11 record under Head Coach Dana McGivney.
