Lady Vikes picked up two district wins on Friday

Warren Central High School picked up two district wins over Terry on Friday.
Game 1:
The Lady Vikes crushed Terry 16-1 in game one.
Kayleigh Karel started things off with a triple along with a double by Sarah Cameron Fancher. Abby Morgan, Lola Crozier, and Adalyn Anderson all got hits in the first inning as WC took a 4-1 lead.
Later on in the game, Crozier would get a double while Makayla Jackson picked up a couple of hits. Morgan, Fancher, and Karel also continued to rack up hits while the team finished with a total of 14.
Karel went 3 for 4 at the plate while Crozier went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Morgan finished with four RBIs with two hits while Fancher and Jackson also had two hits with two RBIs. Anderson and Mary Evelyn Hossley each had one hit.
Morgan struck out seven batters and allowed zero hits in the win.
Game 2:
An inside-the-park home run by Zion Harvey got things started for WC in the 17-0 game two win.
The Lady Vikes would pick up nine runs after hits by Madison Spencer, Sydney Hern, Tyra Bridges, and Kennedy McKay.
A double by Maddy Pant and a single from MK Ferguson pushed the Lady Vikes’ lead to 14-0 late in the game.
Harvey, Spencer, and Pant would all get singles late in the game while Kennedi McKay got a double.
WC had a total of 12 hits and Pant had two hits with four RBIs while McKay went 2 for 3. Spencer, Ferguson, and Harvey all had two hits and two RBIs while Hern finished with one hit.
Pant struck out four and allowed zero hits.
