Larry Donnell Jackson, 1955 – 2022

A Graveside service will be held for Larry Donnell Jackson on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 11:00 am at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Services on Friday, December 23, 2022 from 4:00 pm -6:00 pm with family being present

Larry Darnell (Donnie) Jackson was born to Marie Tolliver Jackson and Alonzo Smith on December 24, 1955. He went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2022, after a brief illness.

He confessed Christ at a young age and was baptized by the late Reverend J.A. Miller at the Pleasant Valley M. B. Church Redwood, Mississippi. Larry worked many years as a truck driver and received the radio handle music man because he would mix music and play it in his trucks. He liked riding motorcycles and watching racing.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Tolliver Jackson and Alonzo Smith; and brothers, Willie B. Jackson, Alonzo Jackson, Herman Jackson, and Andrew Jackson.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Emma Marie Miller, Markisha Montgomery, and Makayla Marie Drayton; son, Treyvion Terrell Drayton; sisters, Willie Mae Jackson-Davis, Shirley Ann Rosegriffin, Annie Mae Richmond, Claretha Butler, and Martha Lee Singleton; four grandchildren; special friend, Evette Wilson; and a host of family and friends.
