Larry Kenneth Cordell, Sr., 1937 – 2022

Larry Kenneth Cordell, Sr. passed away Sunday, July 17, at Merit-Health River Oakes in Flowood, MS. He was 84 years old.

Larry was born in Issaquena County, Mississippi. He worked as a Farmer and chemical salesman and was an avid hunter.

Larry is survived by his wife of over 65 years Patricia Ann Cordell, daughter Catherine Evans (Rocky), sons Larry Kenneth Cordell, Jr. (Kathy) and James W. Cordell, II (Lee Roame), brother Danny W. Cordell, six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 20, at Anguilla Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Porter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Southside Baptist Church/ Dr. Jeff Parker 800 Raymond Rd. Jackson, MS 39204.
