Leisa Rose Carpenter Brown went to her heavenly home and dancing on streets of gold on October 1, 2023, at the age of 57.

Leisa was born December 9,1965 the daughter of Gardner Carpenter and the late Rose Carpenter.

Leisa worked at VWSD in the Special Ed department until she was hit by a drunk driver, and she had to go on disability. She loved crafting, garage sales, and bingo night with family. She loved family reunions, camping and fishing. She was a member of Goodrum Baptist Church. Leisa loved people. She has been honorary Aunt and Grandmother to so many. Leisa was a great friend to so many. Leisa was loved by her family and friends unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Brown, her Mama Rose Carpenter, grandparents, Balmer and Marshall Whitman and Inez and Willis Carpenter, sister-in-law Karen Carpenter, brother-in-law James Arthur Hall, numerous aunts and uncles and cousins, great nephew Brooks Barnette.

She is survived by sons, Colby Ashley, Joshua Reeves (Habilee) Vicksburg, Ms, father Gardner Carpenter (Sharon) Vicksburg, Ms , sister, Rhonda Howard (Niel) Vicksburg, Ms, brother, Michael (Mike) Carpenter (Debra) Vicksburg, Ms , step daughters Cortney Palmer (Jeff) Rolling Fork, Ms. Kim Pesina McGhee, Ar, step-brothers, Neal “Woody” Whitehead and Andy Whitehead; grandchildren, Braden, Brooke, Connor, Carter, Addy, Jordyn, Timmy, Tommy, Tina and so many that she called as her own grandchildren. Nieces, Christian Barnette (Blake), Caley Carpenter (James), Caitlin (Aaron) Nicole Groeteke (Dylan) Brittany Thomason (John) Brandi Toney. Nephews, Darren Hall, Lance Hall. Great niece’s Elena and Sophie Barnette, Great nephew Grayson Williams and so many she called as her own.

Her wish is to have a Celebration of Life gathering (party) that will be planned for a later date.
