Former Warren Central High School standout baseball player Shane Lewis recently wrapped up a successful season with Chipola College. After attending Mississippi State for his freshman year, Lewis decided to transfer to Chipola and quickly made a name for himself.

With the help of Lewis, Chipola finished the 2022 season with 41-14-1 record and was able to advance to the FCSAA/NJCAA South Atlantic District Tournament.

One of his most prominent games this year was against Gordon State where he went 4 for 4 and racked up six RBIs while getting two home runs.

Lewis finished the season with a .312 batting average, 65 RBIs and 15 home runs.

Lewis announced he would be attending Troy University next season.
