Library provides days and times to return materials

The Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library has announced that it will open only to receive returned library materials on the following days and times:

• Tuesday, May 19, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Thursday, May 21, noon to 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 26, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Thursday, May 28, noon to 4 p.m.

In an email, Director Katrina Stokes said that due dates on all materials currently checked out are extended to June 26.

The Library is following the shelter-in-place order set by the Warren County Board of Supervisors, which is set to expire June 1. The closure may be extended further depending on recommendations made by local government and public health officials.

Library staff will adjust the due date on materials checked out to patrons as necessary; patrons will not receive late fees on any materials for the duration of the closure period, which began March 16.
