Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Multiple sources announced the news Saturday; however, it is not clear whether Stafford tested positive or if he was exposed to someone who has COVID-19.

Stanford has been playing with the Lions since 2009 after being drafted as the No. 1 pick from the University of Georgia. He has now passed for more than 41,000 yards in his NFL career and has led the Lions ever since joining the team.

With football season right around the corner, the Lions are not starting off great if they’re without a starting quarterback. As of now, Stafford has not provided any information on the topic.
