Lizana man among those missing in offshore helicopter crash

A Lizana, Mississippi man looking to return home is among one of the four involved in Thursday’s helicopter crash in the Gulf of Mexico.
On Thursday, the U.S. Coast Guard responded to a helicopter crash and began searching for four passengers about 10 miles off the Plaquemines Parish shores.
One of those missing is 36-year-old David Scarborough, of Lizana, who just finished two weeks aboard the rig and was returning home, according to WLOX.
Initial reports indicated the helicopter was departing from an offshore oil platform when the crash occurred.
Scarborough has worked offshore for eight years. He and his wife Lacy are expecting.
