Local business leader, George Carr, passes away

The Vicksburg Daily News is extremely sad to report that local businessman, George Carr, has passed away.

George was a friend to all who had the pleasure to know him. His generosity helped so many causes here in the community, especially the Miss Mississippi organization.

We share in the tremendous loss of his passing.
