Local Christmas events scheduled throughout December

The following events are happening throughout the month of December. We will continue to update this list as more events are announced. You can also view our event calendar to see all events.

• Santa will be at the Vicksburg Mall at the following times and dates:
  • Dec. 11 from noon to 6 p.m.
  • Dec. 12 from noon to 4 p.m.
  • Dec. 18 from noon to 6 p.m.
  • Dec. 19 from noon to 4 p.m.
• Pictures with Santa at Magnolia Jewelers
  • Dec. 11 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Dec. 18 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Dec. 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• The fifth annual Under the Lights drive-thru celebration will be at the following times:
  • Dec 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Dec 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Dec 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

• An opportunity to speak with Santa via ZOOM is available on Dec. 4 and Dec. 11.
• The Reindeer Run 5K to benefit Paws Rescue is scheduled for 8 a.m on Dec. 4 at Catfish Row Art Park.
• The Downtown Vicksburg Christmas Parade of Lights will take place on Dec. 4 at 5 p.m.
• The 13th annual Holly Days Arts & Crafts show will be held Dec. 4 in the historic SCHF Auditorium.
• The Vicksburg Chamber Choir will present a Christmas Concert for the community at First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
• The 20th Annual Breakfast with Santa will take place on Dec. 11 from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
• Night Under the Lights will be hosted by Bowmar Elementary School on Dec. 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• A drive-through live nativity scene will be presented by Wayside Baptist Church on Dec. 22 & 23 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
