Lowndes County Sheriff Murdered
In Haynesville, Ala., Lowndes County Sheriff John Williams was fatally shot on a call for service at a gas station Saturday night.
The nature of the call has not been released at this time.
No information about the suspects has been released at this time.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the State Bureau of Investigations are en route to the scene, according to Montgomery Advertiser.
