Madison High School (Tallulah) started its season with a win over Lincoln Prep

Madison High School (Tallulah, LA) kicked off their season on Thursday with a 14-8 victory over Lincoln Prep.

The Jaguars scored first, courtesy of a pick-6 by Randell Moss, and continued to display strong defensive prowess throughout the game. Logan Hughes was a standout on defense, amassing 10 tackles.

Offensively, MHS leaned heavily on their ground attack. Jaydon Larry sealed the win with a 10-yard touchdown run, rounding off the game with 14 carries for 75 rushing yards. Jaquiron Bolden also contributed with 56 rushing yards from eight carries.

Next week, the Jaguars will travel to face Southern Lab, led by head coach Levi Washington Jr.
