Maggie Dale Davis Howard, 1955- 2023

Maggie Dale Davis Howard was born October 18, 1955, in Utica, Mississippi, to the late Mrs. Marie Montgomery and the late Samuel Davis.

Mrs. Maggie departed this life on Friday, May 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Samuel Davis; stepfather, Andrew Montgomery; mother, Marie Montgomery; and sister, Annie Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Anthony Howard; three daughters, Antonia (Jonathan) Newell, Viola Howard, and Jamie Carter; four sons, Anthony Howard, Jr., Joseph (Charmaine) Howard, Derrick (Anita) Howard, and John (Dauthline) Howard; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one uncle, John Davis; two great-uncles, Minyon McClure and Johnny Davis; four aunts, Ida Davis, Eva Nell Walker, Rosa Dixon, and Janey Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Maggie Dale Davis Howard on June 4, 2023, 2:00 PM at Greater Grove Street M. B. Church, 2715 Alcorn Dr., Vicksburg, MS .

Visitation will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS on June 2, 2023 from 1:00 – 6:00 PM with family present from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.

Maggie Dale Davis Howard transitioned on May 26, 2023 at the age of 67.
