Malik Sims signs with Hinds Community College

Warren Central star linebacker Malik Sims has officially signed to play football at Hinds Community College.

Sims is a three-year starter for the Vikings and has been a great part of their success on both sides of the ball in recent years leading him to get an offer from Hinds.

“I would like to thank God for giving me the gift to play football, and I would like to thank my pastor John Williams for praying with me to make the right decision,” Sims said.

Sims also thanked his parents, coaches, principals, teachers, friends and family, all of whom had a great influence on his life and decision.

“After praying and asking God to direct me on the right path, he showed me that I should start off at Hinds and build from there,” Sims said.

Sims will start his journey at Hinds in June during summer training.
