Man arrested in Warren County in connection with Jackson business burglary
Law enforcement officers arrested a Vicksburg area man on Monday in connection with the March 22 burglary of a Jackson, Miss., storage complex.
Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace says Sabin Reaves, 29, was arrested at a residence in the 1800 block of Jeff Davis Road following a joint investigation between his office, the Mississippi Department of Corrections and the Jackson Police Department property crimes unit.
Sheriff’s investigator Todd Dykes was among the arresting officers along with officers from MDOT and JPD.
Upon executing a search warrant, the officers found numerous items that had been stolen from a Jackson area storage complex on March 22, including a Honda Generator, along with numerous construction and power tools.
Reaves will make his initial appearance Wednesday in Warren County Justice Court on a charge of felony receiving stolen property.
MDOC has placed a no bond detainer on Reaves, as he was on parole for grand larceny and drug charges. Additionally, he will face charges in Jackson related to the business burglary.
Sheriff Pace says this is an ongoing, multi-agency investigation and more arrests are likely.
