Man found shot to death in an abandoned Jackson hotel

Jackson Police are investigating their 59th homicide of the year after a body was found in a abandoned hotel room overnight.

The body of Abdullah Mohammed was discovered at the former Quality Inn on Ellis Avenue. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

JPD is currently seeking information in this crime and if anyone knows anything they can call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
