Man shot in Vicksburg early Friday morning

Just before 2 a.m. the E-911 call center received a call of shots fired on James Court. Moments later Merit Health River Region reported a man with a single gunshot at the hospital.

The male victim arrived in a white car and walked from the vehicle to the emergency entrance.

There is no word on his condition at the time of this report.

Vicksburg police officers and Warren County sheriff’s deputies are at the hospital while the Vicksburg Police are working what is believed to be the scene of the shooting on James Court.
