Man shot in Warren County Wednesday morning

Warren County Sheriff’s Officials are investigating a shooting that occurred around 10 a.m. Wednesday at a residence on Woodland Hills Road.

The victim, a late thirties male, was reportedly shot below the knee. A family member transported the victim from the scene. EMS met them on Fisher Ferry Road and began treatment.

The victim was subsequently transported to Merit Health River Region. Sheriff’s deputies are currently on scene attempting to locate the shooter and ascertain what led to the incident.
