Man wanted for murder among three arrested in Monroe drug sting

A drug sting in Monroe, Louisiana, has resulted in three arrests including a man wanted for a November 2019 nightclub shooting that left one person dead and six others wounded.

Louisiana State Police and Metro narcotics agents arrested Johnson L. Combs, 20, Jory T Williams Jr., 28, and Isaanekkia L. Minniefield, 25, on Wednesday, Feb. 5, after executing a search warrant at a residence in the 1300 block of Breard Street in Monroe.

Combs was wanted in Madison Parish for second-degree murder and six counts of attempted second-degree murder in connection with the November shooting.

During the search, officers seized 2.53 pounds of Xanax, 1.29 pounds of ecstasy, 2.93 pounds of marijuana, 102.1 grams of cocaine, 247.6 grams of methamphetamine and 28.2 grams of synthetic marijuana. Also seized were drug paraphernalia, two Glock pistols and nearly $10,000 in cash.

All three suspects were arrested on multiple drug and firearms charges. Williams and Minniefield were also charged with harboring a fugitive.

They have been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center.
