Marguerite Smithhart Griffin, 1929 – 2020

Marguerite Smithhart Griffin passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2020. She was 91 years old.

Mrs. Griffin moved to Vicksburg, Miss., in 1942. She worked at the Valley Department Store for 23 or 24 years. She retired when they closed.

She is survived by her daughters Sheila Garner (Wesley) and Patricia Ann Hammon; sons Billy Griffin (Daisy), Thomas Wayne Griffin and James Ronald Griffin (Priscilla); five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, from 9 a.m..to 11 a.m. with a graveside service at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating.
