Marilyn Jean Wilson, 1947 – 2022
Marilyn Jean Wilson, our precious MeMe, entered her Heavenly home on Friday, Sep. 2 with her loved ones present. She was 75 years old and a resident of Eagle Lake.
Marilyn was born on June 11, 1947 to Donald A. Wilson, Sr. and Evelyn Robinson Wilson (Hull) in Vicksburg, MS. She attended Redwood School and graduated from WCHS. She was employed with the VWSD and provided child care.
Marilyn is predeceased by her parents and step-father Albert F. Hull, step-mother Mary Wilson, husband John Wayne Steen, siblings Joann Wilson Masters & Jimmy Wilson, Charles K. Rose, brother-in-law and the love of her life, RC Way.
Marilyn is survived by her siblings: Donald A. Wilson, Jr., Elaine Wilson Rose, Brenda Wilson Dick, Kathy Wilson Jobe, Barbara Wilson Copes (Glenn), Neil Frederick Hull, Linda Hull Meister (Michael). Nieces: Alison Rose Stankiewicz (Brian), Dana Ogle Uzzle (Shannon), Tondia Ogle Ferracci (Johnny), Karen Wilson Kleinman. Nephews: Philip Neil Rose (Leanna), Rodney Justin Ogle.
Marilyn was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and fur babies, Bradley & Night.
She adored her great nephews and nieces: Alden Alexa Rose, Peyton Jones Bryan (Adam), Eve Ferracci Valiquette (Greg), Elli Ferracci Jenkins (Gabe), Ava Ray Dale, Maylee Rose Stankiewicz, Cecelia Uzzle. Great nephews: Payne Jones, Lawson Stankiewicz, Ian Philip Rose, Owen Nathaniel Rose.
Marilyn recently became a great-great Aunt to precious Laurie Jean Jenkins.
Marilyn was truly our earth angel. She was a beautiful soul. Praise God for eternal life!
The visitation service will be held Friday, September 9th from 12-2 pm at Riles Funeral Home 5000 Indiana Ave. Vicksburg MS.
Graveside service will be at Greenlawn Cemetery Hwy 27. Please join us for a Celebration of her Life at that time.
Pallbearers are: Payne Jones, Adam Bryan, Philip Neil Rose, Johnny Ferracci, Justin Ogle, Shannon Uzzle.
