Massive sinkhole at Mt. Alban and Culkin roads

A broken water line has undermined the roadway and caused a massive sinkhole to open Friday morning on Mt. Alban Road at the intersection of Culkin Road in Warren County.

The sinkhole is becoming larger by the moment as more of the roadway is undermined by the water.

Please use extreme caution in the area, and find an alternative route if possible.

Work has begun to repair the water line and roadway.  The task is expected to take most of the day, at least, to complete.
