Maude Davidson Abraham obituary

Maude Davidson Abraham passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the age of 103. She was born on September 10, 1919, in St. Charles, AR to parents, Minnie and Guy Davidson. She and her husband, Ralph S. Abraham, Sr. lived in Vicksburg, MS until his death in 1994 and soon she made the move to Clinton, MS to be near her son and his family. Being a homemaker for many years, she began a walking exercise routine of several miles a day for many many years. Maude was a Christian and attended Hawkins United Methodist Church in Vicksburg and First United Methodist in Clinton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph S. Abraham, Sr.; parents, Guy B. Davidson and Minnie Grider Davidson; and 5 siblings, Sally, Ann, Pauline, Guy and Grider.

She is survived by her son, Ralph S. Abraham, Jr. (Bobbie); grandsons, Ralph  Abraham, III (Melissa), Scott Abraham (Meta); Clay Abraham (Shelle); great-grandsons, Sumner Abraham (Sara), Davis Abraham (Olivia), John Abraham (Caroline), Jake Abraham; great-granddaughters, Mallory, Macey, Millie, Callie and Abbey; also 3 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ralph (Randy) Abraham, III, Scott Abraham, Clay Abraham, Sumner Abraham, Davis Abraham, John Abraham and Jake Abraham.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Ware officiating the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials in her memory go to Samaritan’s Purse or to your favorite charity.
