Maxine Jackson, 1951 – 2022

A Celebration of Life will be held for Maxine Jackson on Saturday, Sep. 17, at 11 a.m. at Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.

Visitation will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Services on Friday, September 16, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the family being present from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Maxine was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Lee Wells, Father, Percy Strong, grandmother, Annie Wells, grandfather, Elijah Wells, sister, Catherine Clark, brother Colonel Tommy Dillard Jr., brother,
Charles Wells and nephew Demetrius Clark.

She is survived by: her daughter, Regina Jackson; granddaughter, Keiara Morgan; two sisters, Janice Minor of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Annie Phillips of Aurora, Illinois; two brothers, Johnnie Wells and Elmo Wells, both of Vicksburg, Mississippi; and a myriad of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Maxine Jackson transitioned from this life on Sep. 04, at the age of 71.
