Mayor Flaggs hosts holiday celebration with staff

Mayor Flaggs thanked city employees at a celebration held in his office on Thursday at noon.

The mood was jovial as the Mayor provided a lunchtime feast that included catfish from LD’s and Lovey’s fried bologna sandwiches. The fried bologna sandwiches were a bit hit and the first tray was emptied by the team. About three dozen city employees showed up to the event and enjoyed some fellowship as the holiday weekend approaches.

In addition to the fellowship and food, a raffle was held and prizes were awarded to a couple of lucky city employees.

Several city employees thanked the Mayor and said they looked forward to the next time he does this.
